Does this get bigger towards the end?

River

The rain falls
Drums for worms
And small creatures

From high rock crevices
Where the porous stone dampens dark
I trickle through tangles of grey heather

Here and there I glaze pebbles
Make the earth yield to boots

Burrowing my way through moorland
And sheep-roads
I bubble from beneath the ground
Like nervous laughter

Like sweat licked from a lover
I must join and flow

Making paths were there are none
Gouging the rock like clay
Forcing
Swelling
Roaring

Galloping like a foam horse
To the estuary

Until the ocean sucks in light
Crumbles continents
Could quench the fires of hell

I am River
I am Styx
Come - I am warm, and soft, and lapping.
Swim.
